Key Account & Sales Operation Administrator, Columbus, Ohio

The Key Account and Sales Operation Administrator is responsible for all administrative duties required to set up and process key accounts, from start to finish. This position is the sole point of contact between internal departments (sales, purchasing, distribution, IT and finance) and clients’ logistical teams. This position will also carry out other administrative tasks as required by the sales department. This position reports directly to the Company’s VP of Sales.

Essential Job Functions

  • Setting up new accounts, including gaining access to portals
  • Reading vendor compliance manuals and disseminating relevant compliance needs to appropriate internal departments
  • Working with vendor portals and EDI for order retrieval, advance ship notifications, and invoicing
  • Ordering vendor tickets, ensuring their timely delivery
  • Communicating with buyers regarding change orders
  • Investigating and challenging chargebacks, when appropriate
  • Working with Finance to recover receivables in a timely manner
  • Serving as sole liaison between sales and distribution departments, ensuring on time and accurate deliveries

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working for a wholesale company as a key account administrator
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EDI providers (such as SPS Commerce, EZCom, and CommereHub) and vendor portals (GT Nexus, Amazon Vendor Central, Whole Foods VIP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting package
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem solving and logistics skills
  • Ability to set and maintain time tables for oneself and others
  • Ability to quickly embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 10% travel

Compensation: This is a full-time forty-hour per week position. Starting pay is $15/hour, with the additional opportunity to earn $2000 per quarter in performance bonuses. Benefits include health insurance and pension plan.
