Pat Kim’s wooden ornaments are small, colorful forms adapted from larger scale designs found in his work. Keeping different arrangements of them around his studio, they often act as inspiration for new design ideas. This set of six ornaments is a fun reflection of Kim's broader studio practice, which focuses on material experimentation and traditional craft. Hang them here or there for festive decor, or as objects of celebration in your own space.

Virginia native Pat Kim graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in 2009. After completing an internship with Fisher-Price and working for a high-end furniture designer/fabricator, he set up his own studio in Redhook, Brooklyn. Here he focuses on toys and furniture, but he also designs home accessories and jewelry. He strives to create timeless objects that are both fun and thoughtful. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, and archery.
