Since the holidays are all about connecting with loved ones and creating special memories—something Palimals are extra good at—we’re celebrating the season by hosting a contest, and we want you to join! We’re calling all little artists (kids ages 4-10) to submit a drawing of Palimals engaging in their favorite holiday or winter activity. The winning illustration will be featured on mailable postcards included in all Areaware orders throughout the holidays. The postcards can be sent in the mail or used as a gift card; a simple but thoughtful way to connect with friends or family.

For parents: Have your little artist (ages: 4–10) make a drawing of Palimals taking part in their favorite holiday pastime (ex: unwrapping gifts, baking cookies, cozy nights with family, etc).

For teachers: Get the whole class involved and make it a fun holiday classroom activity! Parent Permission Slips (if required) are linked below. Participation can be optional.

A template is available to download and print to help kids stay within the postcard parameters.

The winning illustration will be selected by the Areaware Team and Palimals designer, Rilla Alexander. The parent or teacher of the winner will be contacted October 16th via email.

• The winning illustration will be printed on postcards included in every Areaware order throughout the holidays. Ten postcards will be sent to the winner, too!
• A full set (7 total) of Palimals - Color or Palimals - Natural (winner's choice).
• The teacher of the winning student will receive a $300 Areaware gift card to purchase educational toys & games for the class.

Between October 1st - October 14th, email social@areaware.com with the following:

• Child's final drawing (scanned or photographed top-down in clear light and included as attachment)
• Parent/Guardian name
• Parent/Guardian email
• Name of child
• Age of child
• Teacher’s name 
• Teacher’s email (to reach out to with gift card prize)
• Name of school (Optional)
